When something goes wrong, it seems that more things will go awry. I had a doctor's appointment today (nothing too serious) and I brought my charger with me to charge my phone. I had it charging until I was called in to the doctor's office. On a quick tangent, doctor's offices should be equipped with charging stations for people to charge their phones. I think it would make perfect sense. Well back to the topic at hand, my phone said it was charged at least about half way. After my appointment, I checked my phone and it was dead. I just figured it would be okay since I was going home. Boy was I wrong.
On my way home, my truck decided it would die. I was able to pull over and it did start after a couple minutes luckily so I started to drive again. However about another ten minutes later it died again. This time it took longer for it to start. I couldn't call anyone since my phone was dead. The last time it died, I had to sit there for about twenty minutes until it would start again. It was so cold waiting and I had nothing to keep entertained except my thoughts. I do like to make lists of various different things. Do any of you? Well mine range from what movies to watch and what books to read, what music I want to get, bucket list, and even a sex bucket list (of course at the way top is to actually have sex). Maybe one of these days, I'll actually share a little bit of my bucket list on here. I'm always adding to it.
There are some things on it though, I'd really like to cross of this month like kiss a guy underneath mistletoe and be kissed on New Year's. Yeah, I know a lot of kissing, but there are other things on my list as well, just these are what I remember off the top of my head. Well I did eventually make it home safe and will definitely look into getting a new phone since mine really doesn't hold a charge well. I now know the importance of having a car charger so I really think I'm going to invest in one and definitely suggest you all do too. You never know when you will be stranded with a dead phone. I really hope never!

Starting this Blog
I've always said I wanted to start a blog, so I decided to finally do it. Welcome :). I do have to warn you about some of the content that I will write about. This blog will be based on my musings and some (hopefully) interesting events in my life. Not everything will be PG 13 because, well real life isn't. So to start things off, I just wanted to give a little introduction to what you'll probably find here. I guess it will be more like an online journal about my life, and sometimes, the lack of one.
On my mind today (and often), is the male species. I am 23 and single; living in Southern California. You'd think there would be a lot of very hot men here and there are, but none of a quality you'd actually want to date repeatedly. Also, I am overweight (definitely working on that. I've lost 40 pounds so far), which makes the dating pool drastically smaller. And to top everything off, I'm a virgin as well. So trying to find a decent guy that doesn't just want to be my first is well, IMPOSSIBLE. Welcome to my life! I have been talking with a few guys on one of these dating websites that isn't exactly a dating website, but I haven't actually had much luck yet. Once I finally think I have finally found a guy that can carry a conversation, he then becomes very sexual and calling me all these pet names like "Baby" and "Hun". Some of it I don't mind because I know sex is a part of life, but when you randomly send me a pic of your dick and then want me to rate it...come on, seriously? I really don't want to be seeing that. I'm more of a face person anyway. I like to see what you actually look like not what you have in your pants. And then asking me for naked pics and when I say no, complain about how "I thought you'd like me" and "I don't mind, you can trust me". Why can't they just respect the fact I said no and move on. I'm just not that type to send pics like that especially to strangers I've been talking to for only 5 minutes. If I was that easy, I wouldn't be a virgin.
I do really enjoy texting this one guy, but he was upfront that he was not attracted to me. I then asked why he still talks to me then, and he said it was because he really enjoys talking to me. Usually, I wouldn't continue as much time as I had messaging him, but he is so different and weird that I just can't stay away. It's been about a month and we've sent almost 4 THOUSAND messages back and forth (not that I keep track, my phone does). I hate to admit it, but I really enjoy talking to him and am attracted to him even though I know it's not reciprocated. That's life though, right? We want what we can't have and get what we don't want. Hopefully though, I find someone that is actually attainable and will get me to stop thinking about him. I really hope for the last part because when he talks about the girls he likes, it actually hurts me a little.
So, I know this has all been about guys, but as a single straight female in her mid twenties, that's usually how it is. I am though, happy to be single and am not depressed I haven't found the right one yet. I'm young and have so much I'm looking forward to doing (like Vegas). Well, with that, I'm going to end this post now. There will definitely be more to come!
